Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony

Kick-off Memorial Day weekend festivities with a commemorative ceremony at the Mill Creek Veterans Monument located next to Library Park. The ceremony includes remarks from the mayor, a prayer from the Mill Creek police chaplain, and singing of the National Anthem by the Mill Creek Chorale during the raising of the flag.

Community members will have an opportunity to pay their respects by laying carnations at the monument to honor those who have given their life in the service of our country.

Memorial Day Parade

Join the Mill Creek community in honoring those who have died in active service to the United States. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. down Main Street, ending at City Hall. It will wind down Main Street, starting at from LA Fitness in the Mill Creek Town Center and ending at City Hall. The parade will highlight the veterans in the Mill Creek community and honor members of local families who died in service.

Honoring Those Who Died in Service

The City of Mill Creek is requesting names of community members that have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces to put on a banner as a way to honor the families and individuals.
